This Privacy Policy explains how LookFor.Group collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application and services.

LookFor.Group (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) operates the mobile application and services described herein.
The App is designed to help people organize and discover real-world sports activities with minimal friction and maximum privacy.
We take privacy seriously and intentionally collect only the minimum data required for the app to function.
When you use the app, an anonymous user ID is generated automatically.
This identifier:
• is not linked to your real identity
• is not an email address or phone number
• is used only to associate actions (such as event creation, participation, or messaging) within the app
This identifier exists solely to enable core app functionality.
This identifier is generated through Firebase Authentication and is stored in our database using standard security practices.
You may choose to set a display nickname that is visible to other users.
• Providing a nickname is optional
• You may change or remove it at any time
• Nicknames do not need to represent your real name
The app allows users to create and share events and send messages within event chats.
Event content may include:
• Event title
• Event description
• Event location (map coordinate)
• Event timestamps
Chat messages may include:
• Message text
• Display nickname of the sender • Timestamp of the message
This content is created voluntarily by users and is visible to others by design.
Users are responsible for the content they create and share within the app. We reserve the right to review, remove, or restrict access to user-generated content that violates our guidelines, applicable laws, or community standards.
If you allow push notifications, we collect a device token provided by Apple Push Notification service (APNs) through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
• This token is used solely to deliver notifications relevant to your activity (e.g., when a user joins your event or when a new message is sent in an event chat)
• The token is associated with your anonymous user identifier
• You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings
We do not collect:
• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Real names
• Contacts
• Payment information
• Advertising identifiers
• Behavioral advertising or marketing tracking data
• Background location data
• Data from other apps or websites
We do not use cookies, third-party trackers, or advertising SDKs.
Location is used only when creating or viewing events on the map.
• Location access is user-initiated
• Location is not tracked in the background
• Location data is stored only as part of event content when a user creates an event
• Location is accessed only while the app is in use
We use collected information only to:
• Enable event creation and participation
• Display events on the map
• Associate events with their creators
• Enable in-app messaging within event chats
• Send push notifications related to event activity
• Maintain basic app functionality
We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.
We process data based on user consent and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.
The app provides a chat feature within events, allowing participants to communicate.
• Messages are visible to all participants of the event
• Messages include the sender’s display nickname (if set) and a timestamp
• Messages cannot be edited or deleted by users
• Chat content is subject to the same community standards as other user-generated content
Users may report events and chat messages they believe are inappropriate.
Reports may be reviewed and may result in content removal or other appropriate action at our discretion.
We do not guarantee specific response times for reviewing reports.
LookFor.Group uses third-party infrastructure providers to operate the app, including:
• Google Firebase (authentication, database hosting, and push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging)
• Google Maps Platform (map display and location services)
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) (delivery of push notifications to iOS devices)
These providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, device type, and usage metadata as necessary to deliver their services.
These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence.
We do not control how these providers process data beyond what is required to operate the app.
To delete your account and all associated data, open the app, go to your Profile page, and tap “Delete Profile.” For further requests contact support@lookfor.group.
• User-generated content (including chat messages) is stored until removed by us
• Anonymous identifiers are retained only as long as the user account exists.
• Users may delete their account within the app. Upon account deletion, the user’s events and participation data are removed. Chat messages sent by the user may be retained in anonymized form.
• Some technical logs may persist temporarily as part of standard infrastructure operations
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at support@lookfor.group.
We apply reasonable technical measures to protect stored data.
However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
LookFor.Group is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided information through the app, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
